The Journey Behind The Vision

A story built through experience, resilience, education, and a passion for helping learner drivers succeed.

My journey in driving education began in 2016 when I was first employed as a marketer at one of the prominent driving schools where I had previously trained as a student. Through dedication and hard work, I was promoted after six months to a Theory Trainer position, where I spent years helping learner drivers understand traffic rules, road signs, and driving theory.

While working closely with students, I noticed that many learners struggled to understand important driving concepts, especially the Model Town Board, causing a high number of students to fail their driving tests repeatedly. Seeing this challenge inspired me to simplify driving education and create easier learning methods for students.

After years of service in different roles including front office operations, I left employment in 2019 due to workplace challenges and later joined another driving institution before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the industry in 2020.

During that difficult period, I decided to use my experience to help learner drivers online. I created educational driving videos and simple driving aids to assist students preparing for their tests.

As more students benefited from the content, the brand “Teacher David Kenya” gradually gained trust across social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.

In 2024, I rebranded the platform to “Teacher David Global” to reflect a larger vision of providing driving education resources not only for Kenya, but for learners and drivers around the world.

My journey was not easy. I started from humble beginnings, working in different positions within driving schools while witnessing the daily struggles many learners faced when preparing for their driving tests.

That experience inspired me to create educational content that could simplify learning and help students succeed with confidence.

Today, Teacher David Global stands as more than just a website or a YouTube channel. It is a growing educational platform built on the values of road safety, knowledge sharing, accessibility, innovation, and learner empowerment.
